adults, please click here.
BOOK GROUPS
Currently two book groups are running, one looking at matters spiritual and the other on a
variety of themes. One is held approximately once a quarter and takes place after the
church service. The other rotates around members' houses and is held about six times a
year. If you would like to participate or know more, or start your own group, please
contact the Church Office.
LIVING THE QUESTIONS
It is hoped to shortly introduce a new discussion based programme called 'Living the
Questions'. This is an open-minded alternative to studies that attempt to give
participants all the answers and instead strives to create an environment where
participants can interact with one another in exploring what's next for Christianity. If
you would like to register an interest in this programme, please contact the Church Office.
'LIFE & WORK'
The monthly magazine of the Church of Scotland is distributed to members at a very
reasonable subscription. If you would like to be included on the distribution list,
please contact the Church Office.
BOOKSTALL
The minister selects a number of books which relate to the themes and spiritual direction
of Cairns. This occurs twice a year when the book selection is available after the morning
service for four or five consecutive Sundays in the Central Court.
